Notice of Eviction!

Dan—an average guy trying to enjoy a temporary job assignment in Puerto Rico—finds himself in a deadly game of cat and mouse with a group of killers when he unintentionally discovers a mysterious stone and proof of an eviction process facing humankind. Forced to run for his life, he desperately reaches out to his best friend Aleecia Donnelly.
Aleecia—who lives within a meticulously cultivated routine that avoids most people and side-steps conflict—is launched into a harrowing search for an ancient alien artifact, and is cast into the covert world of the Crew, a clandestine group fighting for humans’ continued occupation of the planet. Aleecia must transform from a self-imposed seclusionist to guardian of the masses or watch millions die.

This compelling combination of history and myth will suggest a radical alternative to evolution that explores a newfound reality and examines everything believed to be factual about our world.
Science fiction meets thriller in this twisting tale of ancestral warfare. For fans of the King’s Man, the X Files, Independence Day and Ancient Aliens. Buy now and unravel the mystery of the Stones!

What Readers Are Saying

My first sense upon completing ATLANTIS: THE STONES is relief that I have only reached “The End…of the beginning”—as you have set something in motion that feels impossible to stop. And readers are not likely to accept that this momentum, the kind that has allowed them to “Open their minds and see the world the way it really is,” will simply cease. There is no easy return to reality after this experience!

Review on Atlantis: the Stones

This was a great read! Although a sifi thriller is not what I usually read, I’m so glad that I did. You give a very plausible answer to every question mankind has, and give us compelling reasons for the things we did. I can’t wait for the next book!

This is a thrilling piece of fiction that isn’t afraid to rely on history, geography, politics and human nature to form some very exciting adventures fraught with danger. I love the character arcs embedded in the story and how the group dynamic embolden and enrich the characters, and raise questions regarding individual beliefs. The story contains multiple perspectives and they effectively intertwine to continuously build the action until it feels so charged with energy that it’s hard to put down. Nicely crafted!

Wow! What a rush! From the opening chapter where Dan finds the stone all the way through to the end, the ride just gets better and better. Glad to see this was not the end! I want to see what happens next!

Atlantis - The Series

Atlantis wasn’t an island nation – Atlantis was a planet. An environmental catastrophe forced the inhabitants to abandon their home and seek a new one. Advanced teams located a possible home and terraformed a dead planet into a new home – their promised land. As the early teams survived, lived and devolved into early man, their descendants evolved and became us. Now the rest of the Atlantis population has arrived to find us inhabiting and destroying their sacred planet. Unknown to most of us, two human factions now battle for control of the planet and the fate of the human race. The Atlantis series is historical and logical fiction, and to put it plainly, it’s the story of the King’s Man inside The X files

A Word From The Author

I could break into the standard blurb like – Douglas Hoover lives with his wife Cheryl in Charlevoix, Michigan – and such, but it always seemed so clinical to me. Instead, I’ll just give you a run down on how I got on this path.

I first discovered my passion for writing as a young teen, but a lack of mentoring, and encouragement left those paths distant. I’ve always written stories as a hobby and those stories became my escape to better places.

After a successful battle with cancer, my wonderful wife, Cheryl, asked me to pursue my true passion and begin writing full time. So I put aside my multimedia design business to follow this path.

We do live in Charlevoix, where the summers are wonderful and the winters – not so much, but I’m a water person and need to be near it.
